Spotlight :
Very smart in bumpers last season when third to Dunguib here and looked to have future on the Flat (fine pedigree) when trotting up in the Leopardstown November Handicap; no doubt best still to be seen from him over hurdles but hard to pin down what he achieved when making it 2-2 at Punchestown last month and marked difference of opinion between bookmakers and BHA handicapper who rates him just 133.

Spotlight :
Came out best of yard's representatives when creditable fourth in the Champion Bumper 12 months ago and made fine impression when taking first two starts over hurdles at Punchestown (2m4f) and Cork (3m Grade 3); drop back to shorter trip just found him out against very smart type at Leopardstown latest and looks real stayer, but interesting connections retain faith.

Spotlight :
Left impression ultimately outstayed when close third to Reve De Sivola in the mud for 2m5f Challow Hurdle at Newbury in December; looked very smart prospect when winning under less demanding conditions either side at Newbury and Ascot and no surprise if turning the form round here on today's ground.

Spotlight :
Bought £100,000 after making successful debut in 2m4f Irish point last spring and looked exciting prospect when winning all three starts for new yard; scored by a wide margin both starts over hurdles, trounced pair rated in low 130s in four-runner Grade 2 at Haydock last time, and hard to know how good he is but is tackling new trip.

Spotlight :
Smart juvenile hurdler last winter who has improved as expected for greater test of stamina this season and won valuable events at Chepstow and Newbury; bottomless stamina won him the day in the Challow when getting up late and could just be vulnerable on this ground; still has room for improvement in his jumping.

Spotlight :
Juddmonte cast-off who, one blip apart at Navan in December, has shown progressive form in bumpers and over hurdles; got himself back on track when beating smart Arvika Ligeonniere at Punchestown last time despite trainer and jockey feeling he needed the run badly and more to come over today's sort of trip from this brother to French 12.5f Group 2 winner Dance Routine.

Spotlight :
Very useful middle-distance stayer on Flat and proved himself of similar calibre over hurdles this winter; stuck to task well when third in totesport Trophy Handicap at Newbury last time and will be suited by return to further but still likely to come up short at this level.

Spotlight :
Fine second in Champion Bumper last year when just ahead of Rite Of Passage and Quel Esprit but come up short in Graded company over hurdles, again getting rear view of Dunguib when third at Leopardstown last month; possible stronger pace under today's conditions will show him in better light, but it needs to.

Spotlight :
Good Flat pedigree (dam won Fillies' Mile) and proved himself smart performer in bumpers when winning Listed event here in November; had no trouble in landing the odds in ordinary novice hurdle at Taunton after close second to General Miller here on hurdling debut in December but being asked a stern question upped in trip today.

Spotlight :
Bought £95,000 after winning Irish point in November 2008 and won both his starts over hurdles this season for new connections, over 2m and 3m at Newcastle; stamina looked his strong point when accounting for subsequent Grade 2 winner Wymott on latter occasion and may be vulnerable to speedier types here.

Spotlight :
Never jumped with any fluency going right-handed for first time in very testing conditions at Punchestown latest and better judged on what he accomplished when springing 25-1 surprise in 2m Leopardstown Grade 1 over Christmas, but it remains to be seen if this longer trip will yield necessary further improvement.

Spotlight :
Off the mark with tongue-tie fitted in Hereford bumper in December and created decent impression both starts over hurdles since, readily landing the odds on same track after second to smart Bellvano (gave 10lb) at Newbury; likely to be suited by this longer trip but this still looks a big ask.

Spotlight :
Smart bumper performer in 2006-07 but seen only intermittently since; picked up pair of novice hurdles around this trip in the mud in November but readily put in place in the Challow next time and reportedly lost action when favourite for handicap here in January; flying too high even if on song.
