Penultimate start resulted in a close second in the Chester Cup and followed that excellent run with an emphatic victory in the Northumberland Plate. Earned step into group company and only required a few pounds further improvement to make the mix.

Won a Group 3 at this festival last year and his two run this season resulted in a close second to Mount Athos and a fourth in the Hardwicke at the Royal meeting. Needs to prove he stays this trip, but was staying on strongly in those two races and could well improve for the extra distance.
