Held up lately; hat-trick last April-June included two C&D handicaps, latter the Britannia at Royal meeting (good to firm); no impact in Group 3 at Goodwood but good third of 20 back in a top C&D handicap (soft) in October and looks capable of further progress; not top on form but he's highly respected.
Nine of his 11 races have been Group events, career highlight a Group 3 win at Glorious Goodwood (soft) last August when dropped back to 1m; not so hot afterwards, ending last term at 100-1 in top C&D race; gelded since; big chance if he resumes in top form.
4-7 on AW, in career-best form last month, compared to 0-5 on turf; his best turf efforts are still very useful but he's unraced on softer than good, so that poses a question mark over whether he can make the most of the good form chance arising from his latest AW run.
Won his first three career starts in spring 2022 and he was bang there, not getting best of runs, when fourth in the Group 1 St James's Palace at Royal Ascot (1m) that June; the clear pick on the latter form but unraced on softer than good and had only one race last term, when well below form in Group 2 at Newmarket in September; entered in next month's Group 1 Lockinge and it will be interesting to see his market strength.
Won debut at Salisbury (7f, good to soft) last May and followed up at Newmarket (1m, good) in another novice race two weeks later; carried head high in both, showing inexperience or that he's not entirely straightforward; also absent since and all of the others in this race have better form but there was a suggestion of major reserves in the latter win and he'll probably be a Group-race performer.
