Won two chases in Ireland for Willie Mullins, the latest in September; pulled-up outsider in 2m4f Cheltenham Festival handicap for new stable and didn't jump well when tailed off over 2m at Chepstow; this trip is probably better for him but he's hard to weigh up and new headgear is on.
His last four wins have been at Wetherby, including two chases; trying 3m for the first time when beaten about 7l at Sandown (good to soft) and was a similar distance away at Kelso (2m7f, soft); can be up and down but has a big run in him.
Lost his way over hurdles for Gordon Elliott and was beaten 26l and 91l when his attentions were turned to chasing; sold on for 22,000euros and he lacks experience for a race of this nature.
Fell on last season's return after an absence and has offered little in his two subsequent completions; well handicapped now but comes with risks at the minute; blinkers tried.
A lot of his form is over shorter but he proved his stamina for this far when beaten 4.5l over C&D last month (soft; fine on good); overall profile questions whether he'll be so good again.
Dual winning hurdler; hinted when fourth at Sandown in December (3m, soft) that he could reach the same heights over fences but hasn't built on that and blinkers now replace cheekpieces.
Both novice hurdle wins were over shorter; 0-4 as a chaser but he didn't run at all badly in a vaulable 3m handicap won by the classy Sharjah at Ayr's National meeting; enters the reckoning.
Low-mileage 10yo; competitive without genuinely threatening in two 3m handicap hurdles following a long absence; on his last winning mark but this is no easy starter over fences (point winner).
Has more on his plate than when winning two small-field 3m handicaps at Ludlow (on soft) and late mistakes let him down back there last month; hard to call him well handicapped.
Won fairly comfortably in first-time blinkers at Market Rasen (3m, good to soft) to make it 4-9 over fences and he only narrowly missed out at Southwell last month after a 6lb rise; this is a rise in class but he should give his running, which can't be said for many of these.
