Made it 4-4 (soft/good to soft) in Grade 2 novice hurdle at Cheltenham (2m4f) in January before respectable sixth in the Albert Bartlett at the Cheltenham Festival (3m, heavy); drops back in trip on his chase and handicap debut but he's not short of pace and looks the type to thrive over fences.
4-10 over hurdles (wins on good-soft) and he dug deep to win three-runner novice on last month's chase and seasonal debut at Uttoxeter (2m, good); he's on a competitive mark on hurdle form and could have more to offer over fences, while he should be fine now back up in trip; chance.
Won four chases earlier in the season (2m4f/2m5f, good/good to soft) and good third in novice handicap at Cheltenham (2m4f, good) last month, before failing to stay 3m in the Badger Beer a fortnight ago; won on soft ground over hurdles; could put his experience to good use and have a big say.
French hurdle winner (2m2f, heavy) who is 0-9 in Britain but this 5yo ran some good races over hurdles last season and did likewise when clear second of four on this month's chase and seasonal debut over C&D (good); he may have bumped into a smart prospect that day and he's respected this afternoon.
Inconsistent over hurdles last season but won a Lingfield maiden (2m3f, good to soft) and went close in Ludlow handicap (2m5f, soft) in April when last seen, behind one who followed up; this 5yo is from a good French chasing family and could improve for fences; he's one to consider.
