Chase debut; won over hurdles at Taunton (2m3f, good) on final run last term and could improve for last month's comeback fifth at Newton Abbot (2m5f, heavy); this is a pretty tough field in which to prove himself over fences but his yard is in fine form and the step back up in trip may suit.
Pulled up over hurdles on last month's reappearance but he made a similar start to last season before showing progressive form back over fences, winning twice (2m7f/3m1f, good to soft); could resume his improving ways now reverting to chasing; one to be interested in.
Point winner who reappeared last month having had wind surgery and made a winning chase debut at Worcester (2m7f, soft); has shown promise on good to soft ground; hit with 10lb rise for last time but he won eased down and this unexposed 6yo could still be ahead of the handicapper.
Below par on return and his sole chase win (from eight attempts) was a narrow one in a small field at Market Rasen in July; however, he possibly idled in front when beating an in-form rival on that first crack at 3m, and there can be hope he'll improve for his latest run; cheekpieces go on; chance.
Front-runner who won twice last winter (2m3f/2m1f, soft) and got back on the scoresheet at Newton Abbot (2m5f, good) in May; he might have needed the run at Plumpton last month but faces no easy task now back up in grade and he's unproven at 3m under rules.
