Showed some improvement to get off the mark over hurdles at Kelso (2m, good to soft) last month, not extended to pull 7l clear, but he's in much deeper here and stable jockey Derek Fox rides Rocheval.
Falls into the could-be-anything category; won bumper at Huntingdon (good; easily) in April and novice hurdle at Ayr (2m, good to soft; cheekily) in October, both with plenty in hand; this is a sterner assignment but he's probably a useful prospect and needs serious consideration.
Changed hands for 215,000 in May 2023 after an easy win in an Irish point (good to yielding); has since made much of the running when gaining smooth successes over hurdles at Market Rasen (2m1f, good) and Wetherby (2m, good); promising type with plenty of untapped potential.
Has done everything right so far, beating the same stablemate in an Aintree bumper and an Ayr juvenile hurdle (2m) before proving too good for a different stablemate at Carlisle (2m1f) in March, all those races on soft ground; both runners-up have boosted the form with victories since; faces a higher calibre of rival here but may take another step forward after a break.
Promising gelding; shaped well in bumper at Ayr before belying market weakness to make winning hurdling debut on same course (2m, good to soft) three weeks ago with plenty in hand; quite stoutly bred but clearly has lots of speed; probably a useful novice at least and needs serious consideration.
Older and more experienced than any of her rivals; was in top form in the spring, easily winning maiden at Ayr (2m, soft) and following up in 12-runner handicap at Kelso (2m, good); those efforts set the standard for all the others to aim at; may well complete a hat-trick.
Won at Bangor and Cartmel in the spring, both on good ground, but has not kicked on from there and was only fourth under a penalty back at Bangor (2-1 favourite) last month; others appeal more.
