Took form to whole new level when winning easily at Taunton (2m3f, soft) in March but was soundly beaten over C&D on latest outing in May and may find others better handicapped here.
Won Stratford maiden (2m, good) in the summer and has made the frame in all three subsequent handicaps, most recently when third over C&D (good) this month; in the mix again, providing the ground hasn't turned against him.
Aided by addition of tongue-tie when winning twice over 2m2f towards end of 2022-23 season (soft/good) and, following a long absence, he ran a big race in defeat at Stratford (2m2f, heavy) last month; may still have more improvement to come; leading contender.
Just held on at Southwell (2m, good) last month, his second hurdling win; no threat to front pair when third of five at Kempton since but combination of new trip and first-time cheekpieces may enable improvement here.
Out of form over fences and hurdles when last seen last autumn; resumes on a tempting mark but seems best at around 3m and has a lot more to prove than some of these.
Came good at third attempt for Olly Murphy, making all to win by 15l in first-time cheekpieces at Perth (2m4f, good) in September; 11lb higher on stable debut, having changed hands for 17,000, and headgear is missing but he remains well handicapped on older form and Harry Cobden rides.
Won twice over 2m5f here last year and was back on the scoresheet at Worcester (2m4f, good; refitted cheekpieces) this summer; not quite at best lately, though, and would appeal more on genuinely good ground.
Gamely won Uttoxeter maiden (2m, soft) in summer and started off in handicaps with two very respectable efforts this autumn (2m3f/2m5f, good); needs to find something extra but not ruled out each-way.
Joined Christian Williams after winning Irish point debut in March; showed nothing more than minor promise in three 2m novice/maiden hurdles this autumn but moves up in trip for this handicap debut; possible improver.
Ex-French 5yo; still very unexposed in Britain but has struggled in a 2m1f novice hurdle and a 2m handicap chase this autumn; considered only if lively in the betting.
Quite useful on the Flat in his prime but has not shown a great deal in his five hurdling starts since September; beaten about 23l when fifth of sixth here (2m, good) a fortnight ago; tries a new trip today.
