Soundly beaten sixth of 11 on debut in bumper at Hexham (2m, good to soft) last month, but he was backed in to 2-1 favouritism from 7-1 and it will be interesting to see if his supporters return; in good hands.
Following wind surgery he showed improved form when second on at Bangor (2m, soft) last month on his second hurdle start, despite pulling hard; can give another good account and he's an each-way player.
Tailed off in Fairyhouse bumper (2m, soft to heavy) in April when last seen but he won at Carlisle (2m1f, soft) prior to that and retains potential for his Irish stable now switched to hurdles on his reappearance.
Disappointing in Grade 2 novice at Cheltenham (2m5f, soft) last month and set to be on similar ground today, which is a concern even though his bumper win came on soft going; however, perhaps a first-time tongue-tie and the drop back in trip will help, and he'll be very tough to beat if tapping back into the promise shown when second at Cheltenham (3m, good) in October.
Backed into 11-4 from 7-1 on debut in bumper at Hexham (2m, good) in April; one to watch in the betting but he was tailed off at Hexham and needs to be a vastly different proposition now starting out over hurdles.
Well beaten on hurdle debut over C&D in October but this soft-ground bumper winner has had wind surgery since and his trainer has won three of the last five runnings of this race, including the last two; could run well.
Won for Tom Symonds on debut in bumper at Uttoxeter (2m, good) in May; however, pulled up at 40-1 on last month's hurdle and stable debut at Carlisle (2m4f, soft) and he may be best watched for now.
