Hurdle debut win was on soft; scored under top weight in 4yo handicap at Chepstow (2m, good) on seasonal debut; last season's only two hurdle defeats were in Grade 1s and the heavy defeat at Cheltenham three weeks ago was in a major handicap; he could rebound at this lower level.
Unraced on worse than good to soft; bumper winner who has made a good start to hurdling career, on second attempt winning a 13-runner novice at Bangor (2m, good) by 12l at 10-11; while this handicap debut is much more of a test, it's hard to pin down just how good he might be.
Won twice over hurdles in France; 0-4 for Olly Murphy and 0-4 for current yard, as good as ever when third of eight at Huntingdon (2m, good to soft; hooded first time) 15 days ago; needs to find a bit extra but he mounted a strong finish last time to give some hope.
Flat maiden and his sole win was in 2022 on the first of nine starts over hurdles; five places for Alan King in the meantime and although he was tailed off on debut for new yard five weeks ago, that was without his usual hood which now returns; even so, he does not look the percentage call.
Won three novice hurdles in a row at Carlisle (2m1f-2m3f, good to soft/good) in the spring; while not disgraced in his three handicaps since, beaten 11l when runner-up at Carlisle last time, he needs better than that.
Plenty of racing but in the form of his life with two wins and a second this autumn, all at this track on good or good to soft; the two wins were over 2m2f and 2m5f and he's rising in the weights, 7lb since his latest start, but he travelled much the strongest that day and needs respect.
