The Truant
Won over 1m6f and 2m on turf in Ireland this year; had Polytrack form in home country as a 3yo but just one inconclusive run on the surface since, in March this year; hard to weigh up after well held over hurdles on yard debut two weeks ago.

Lunar Power
Often leads; AW winner on Dundalk Polytrack in 2021 but it's a long time since he achieved much on sand, running poorly for new yard at Southwell (5-1) in October; just respectable efforts back hurdling since but a revival is still on the cards; trainer also runs Fascinating Shadow.

Young Endless
In fine form at Southwell recently and it wasn't at all hard work when he completed the three-timer (2m and 1m6f) in an amateur jockeys' race there 12 days ago; has more to prove off 4lb higher now back on Polytrack but he has handled the surface in the past; obvious player.

Potters Marmite
Modest form in bumpers, qualifying events and on handicap debut at Yarmouth in October; fared slightly better when fifth of ten at Southwell (1m6f; first-time cheekpieces, retained) later that month but still looks on a high mark and improvement needed for new trip.

Fascinating Shadow
Losing run goes back to a hurdle win in 2022 but he had won on Polytrack in Ireland earlier and was having his first run on this surface since April 2024 when keeping on well to take a close second here (1m5f; favourite) on Wednesday; up in grade but new trip is worth a go; major contender.
