Won at Fontwell just over a year ago and got back on the scoresheet at Exeter (2m7f, good to soft) last month; Toby McCain-Mitchell retains the ride; player up 4lb.
Won his second hurdle race when ridden clear on his comeback at Ludlow (3m, good to soft) one week ago; escapes a penalty for that conditional jockeys' race; huge player.
Arrested a decline when third of 16 at Huntingdon (3m1f, good) early last month; 2lb nudge for being beaten 4l at Ludlow last time is a little jarring, but there was a decent gap back to the third; respected.
All or nothing over hurdles and fences since March 2023, with three wins (including a staying chase here) accompanying five heavy defeats; beaten 36l last month on his first run for a year; anyone's guess today but a better effort can't be ruled out; doesn't want rain.
0-17 over hurdles; poor effort on his penultimate start but it was a respectable show over C&D (good) previously and again when fourth of 12 at Exeter (about 2m6f, good to soft; 50-1) last time; still not the percentage call.
