Refused to race at Ludlow last month but he resumed his progress with a comfortable win over C&D (good to firm) two weeks ago; up 7lb but he's now 5-18 over hurdles and should get a decent tow into this race; key player.
Looks feasibly treated on his best hurdles form but he's been beaten around 11l in last two starts and latest was in a Class 3 at Windsor (2m, good to soft) 18 days ago; hurdle record is now 1-10 and he needs to find more back up in trip.
Good-ground bumper winner who has shown promise over hurdles but faded into fourth when upped to 2m4f on handicap debut at Chepstow (soft) last month; still unexposed in this sphere but needs improvement back on forecast quicker ground.
His last win was 12 months ago but that was off 1lb higher in this race (good); well below form at Exeter on his penultimate run but he bounced back with a third behind Melton Mossy over C&D last time; that was eyecatching from off the pace and he's an interesting contender.
