Winner of six races, including over C&D, in 2024; badly out of form since November last year and although back on a good mark has plenty to prove at present.
Comes here in good form having won twice over C&D from his last three starts; stiffer task here (3lb rise for last win and up 7lb in total) but still warrants respect.
Well below par on his last two runs having won at Catterick in August (2m, good); equally effective on the AW and quite interesting on return from two-month break.
Without a win in nine attempts on the AW; placed on four occasions last year, but well beaten for this new yard on last two starts (latest a claiming hurdle); cheekpieces now tried.
Ex-Irish; placed in a couple of maidens at Dundalk for Sheila Lavery in January (1m2f, 1m4f) but has become disappointing and others have stronger claims.
Consistent in four starts since joining Olly Murphy, winning maiden hurdle at Perth in August (2m, good) and last time finishing close second in a 9.5f handicap off 1lb lower here (refused to go into the stalls and withdrawn on latest intended appearance); takes a marked step up in trip but looks the one to beat.
