Latest of five wins was in the 2023 renewal of this event, after which he ran well in a Group 3 at Leopardstown and a Listed contest over C&D; not the same force nowadays and has come down a good bit in the ratings; was still capable of good form last year; not at his best on AW in the spring and back from a break here.
Often made the frame in France, but just a 1m maiden win to his name; picked up out of a claimer in August, a frequent source of recruits to this yard; almost always wore hood/tongue-tie combination; goes without any aids here; long absence and surprise if he's ready to be involved.
Three wins from eight AW starts, but 0-20 on turf; did well at Dundalk over the winter and carried that form through to soft-ground contests in the spring; second over 7f at Naas and fourth over 1m2f at Leopardstown in April (strong form); not so good lately; likes to come from off the pace.
Wonderfully durable handicapper with 11 wins to his name, the latest being on his favoured soft ground at Roscommon in September; returned to form at that track two starts back, where he handled good ground, and fine run at Limerick (yielding) last month when narrowly beaten by an in-form 3yo; easier ground would be ideal, but still the one to beat.
Maiden has finished second five times, twice at Ballinrobe and three times at Leopardstown; on second start of the season, was backed at latter venue when front-running second over 1m1f; that was on soft to heavy, but he's fine on good; doesn't have to lead, but mightn't be much competition for it here.
Had placed form over 6f/7f at three, but sole win came when making all over 1m7f in amateur riders' handicap at Leopardstown last summer; twice runner-up in maiden hurdles as well; this will be too sharp a test on first run since October.
Won in Poland at two and over 1m1f in France last year; picked up for 9,000 euros in November; 80-1, never a factor over 10.5f on Irish debut at Roscommon.
Five wins for Joe Murphy, latest of them over 1m1f at Tipperary in October; big prices and has shown little in four starts for this yard; mark tumbling, but prefers it soft and will be of more interest when the rain returns.
