Signed off for Twiston-Davies stable with creditable second behind a next-time-out winner over hurdles in May, having made the running in first-time cheekpieces; last throughout on stable debut without headgear in four-runner Newton Abbot chase this month but the cheekpieces are back on here and it will be interesting to see whether connections revert to more positive tactics.

Bounced back to form with narrow win at Kelso (2m5f, good) in May but that seems to be his favourite track and he's been soundly beaten here twice since, latterly over 2m1f on Saturday; 3lb wrong for chase debut.

Delivered on promise shown in Irish points/bumpers when making all twice over hurdles in novice company at Hexham (2m/2m4f, good) in May; respectable third on handicap debut there (2m4f, good) last month and looks quite interesting on this chase debut, even from 4lb out of the weights.
