Won two in a row on soft ground early last year and best effort to score on heavy at Leicester in December; those three wins were at about 2m4f and he looked stretched by 3m at Ayr (soft) last April, albeit finishing fourth of 16 which was up with his best form at the time; below form on latest outing but needs a second look back up in trip.
Three wins in the mud last February-April, including over C&D; he's not been at that level this season, leading to wind surgery since latest start but to win this may well require his best form since 2021.
Musselburgh (3m, good to soft; 5lb higher today) in December saw his first win for two years, making all, but he disappointed at Sedgefield 17 days later, notwithstanding the return to 2m4f; used to act on soft but unraced on ground that testing since disappointing on it in 2023.
Had wind surgery prior to winning on stable debut at Stratford (2m6f, soft) in October with first-time cheekpieces, which have been kept since; creditable fifth of nine off this 4lb higher mark at Ascot (3m) on his only start since but that indicates that he needs to find extra.
Back to form with the return to hurdling in two races over about 2m4f this season, making most before tiring into third at Windsor last time; lightly raced and tries a new trip in search of the improvement which is needed.
Won maiden hurdle at Plumpton (2m5f) in December 2023 but has not lived up to that in his three races since, in handicaps on last two occasions; third over C&D last time but he was beaten about 13l in a seven-runner race and has been dropped just 1lb.
Has added to her minor honours when back up to about 2m4f this winter but remains a maiden after 11 starts and pulled up in two of her last four; while this new trip is worth a go and her stable (runs two) is among the winners, other runners are more persuasive.
Lightly raced 8yo; transition to handicaps went badly last season and chasing has not worked out this term; there were also two wind operations last year (February and July); now reverts to hurdling with a tongue-tie for the second time and cheekpieces first time.
Won twice over hurdles from markedly higher marks in spring 2021, including over C&D; disappointing since, with a close third over fences (3m2f) last April but he's not shone at all in his two runs this winter; back hurdling for first time since last January.
Clearcut win off 2lb lower at Ffos Las (3m, good; acts on soft) last May; there's been an echo of that in only one of his three starts since and even then he fell when beaten at the final flight, so he now has a point to prove.
Improved to win handicap debut at Carlisle (2m4f, good to soft) in November with first-time cheekpieces, which have been kept since; flopped on soft ground next time but back-to-form fourth on good to soft at Wetherby on latest; readily outpaced before three out in the latter but kept on, so 3m is worth the attempt if he goes on the ground.
Second on handicap debut at Haydock (3m, soft) last March; flopped on reappearance and although latest start was a step back in the right direction, he was nevertheless beaten 27l; player if he returned to the Haydock form.
0-10 in Ireland and 0-6 in Britain; easily his closest call came in a 3m hurdle race on heavy ground, back in 2021 however and although there have been minor honours for this yard, he was pulled up at Ascot (10-1) five weeks ago when returning from a 662-day absence.
Reliable since upped to this sort of trip for four of his last five starts, winning over hurdles on the first and latest occasions (ran in chases in between); did it comfortably under Will Featherstone in seven-runner race for conditional jockeys at Exeter (soft) last Monday and, although due to go up 6lb, he is able to race off an unchanged mark today; the one to beat if he backs up the form 11 days later.
3-19 over fences but he was well beaten when unseating in his two starts for new yard, trying a tongue-tie on latest; his only three hurdle races were in 2021; well handicapped on lots of chase form, including last January/April, but there are qustions to answer at the moment.
Won well from the front when upped to 3m1f at Catterick (soft) last February; has not fared so well since but ran creditably over an inadequate 2m3f on penultimate start in his only chase; case can be made, with his stable (runs two) having had recent winners.
Came good over hurdles at seventh attempt, drawing just over 5l clear at Market Rasen (3m, good; 6lb higher today) last June; pulled up the following month and not seen since; acts on soft but she needs to produce a career best as a hurdler if she's to win this.
