French Flat winner (very soft) who won on his hurdle debut at Gowran (2m, yielding) in October then finished third of five at Down Royal (2m1f, yielding) behind subsequent Grade 3 winner Mange Tout; he's travelled from Ireland and is entitled to respect.
13-2 when clear second on debut at Bangor (2m, soft) last month and the winner again had plenty in hand at Wincanton on Thursday when making it 2-2; improvement necessary in today's company but that's entirely possible.
Off the mark at the sixth attempt on the Flat for Johnny Murtagh when wearing first-time tongue-tie and blinkers in Galway maiden (1m4f, yielding to soft) in July; no headgear for this stable/hurdle debut and Tristan Durrell can't claim his usual 3lb, but he brings lots of potential for his top yard.
Won three juvenile hurdles in a row for Olly Murphy in August/September (good to soft/good) before 70,000 sale; heavy ground may not have suited on stable debut in Cheltenham Grade 2 three weeks ago and he could go well.
Progressive on the Flat and won in good style at Warwick (2m, good) last month on second hurdle start; showed some promise on soft ground on the Flat; open to further improvement in this code and could be a contender.
Considerable promise on both Flat starts in Ireland (including on yielding ground; unraced on softer) and he improved for October's hurdle debut to win easily at Ludlow (2m, good) last month; could be a player today.
Fair maiden on the Flat for Richard Hannon; won in first-time cheekpieces (retained since) on hurdle/stable debut at Sedgefield (2m1f, good) in October and runner-up at Hereford (2m, good) since; however, this filly is probably vulnerable up in grade and Tom Broughton can't claim his usual 5lb.
