Lightly raced 9yo who won the 4m2f Midlands National at Uttoxeter (good to soft) in March when last seen, but that followed another major win over 3m1f at Haydock (soft); raised another 9lb but rain will help and this plucky front-runner can dig deep again to find more improvement; big shout.
Won a Grade 3 novice hurdle and Grade 2 novice chase, both about 2m6f at Limerick against her own sex, and also a good second in January over 3m1f on heavy; never figured when 9-1 in the Irish National (early interference didn't help) and below form over 2m5f on reappearance one month ago, but this lightly raced 7yo jumps well and probably remains capable of better.
Dictated the pace for a Uttoxeter win (3m, soft; 2lb higher today) in February in a less demanding race than he's often appeared in; managed fourth in last season's Welsh National and front-running sixth in the bet365 at Sandown, but behind from the word go in the Grand National over these fences and that performance has to be disconcerting.
Ridden by Beau Morgan since 2022; his tenth in the Grand National was a remote one, always behind, and clearly his best effort last term was first time out; back to form with a win at Sandown on reappearance this time round, narrowly in a four-runner race, but he was also a fine second at the 2024 Cheltenham Festival (3m1f, heavy) to show big-race aptitude.
Took the Topham (2m5f, soft) over these fences in April 2023; largely disappointing since but the tide turned with a win at the Punchestown festival (3m, yielding) in May and last month's bold show from the front was his best hurdles form; not proven over this quite this far but he's back in the mix.
Veteran who won 3m6f Listed cross-country race at Craon in September 2024 and 2025, taking his tally over French fences to ten wins (also one in Ireland); faded from two out when seventh here in the 2023 Grand National and did not jump so fluently when ninth in it in 2024; this shorter trip might help and he's considered each-way.
Made a very promising start to his chasing career with two wins late last year; problems in his three starts since, jumping too ponderously on reappearance over these fences four weeks ago but there were signs of him warming to his task; a more competitive display may well be forthcoming today but he's not proved himself beyond 3m.
Led soon after four out to two out when eighth here in the 2024 Grand National; disappointing last term after her Welsh National fifth but reappearance five weeks ago was a step back in the right direction and, off 12lb lower today than her peak mark, she needs respect for yard which has already grabbed plenty of success in top chase events this season.
Has run with credit virtually every time since joining this yard last winter; showed plenty of dash up front when fourth of 17 in the 2m5f Grand Sefton over these fences on latest outing but there's much more for him to prove on worse than good to soft and over 3m+.
No win since 2023 but he was bang there when making a bad mistake two out in the Topham here in April and last month's second attempt over these fences when third of 17 in the Grand Sefton (again 2m5f) was his best show for ages; back in the picture but his stamina at about 3m can be questioned.
Mostly ran well in 2m4f-2m6f handicaps on varied ground as a novice last term before barely sighted when 16-1 for the 3m2f Kim Muir at Cheltenham; disputed the lead over the final fence when a respectable fourth over 3m2f at Carlisle five weeks ago, giving more hope that he will stay this trip although he clearly needs to see it out better.
Won at Carlisle first time out last season before his Welsh National win (3m6f, soft) and a promoted second in the Grand National Trial at Haydock; last of nine in the same Carlisle race on reappearance this term but he wasn't far away two out, probably needing the race, and is a leading player judged on last season's exploits.
Third in the 2m5f Grand Sefton over these fences last November and runner-up in it this term; failure to match that subsequently last season is a worry, but he registered a 4m win on soft at Cheltenham as a hunter chaser, so stamina is not a problem and he has to be in serious calculations.
