Ran pretty well on chase debut in Grade 2 novice here (2m, soft) last month; failed to back that up at Exeter (2m1f, good to soft) last Friday but he's on a handy mark now back hurdling and is not ruled out.
Continues to drop down the weights and he's effective here, but he failed to shine here in March on his final run for Nicky Henderson and he's struggled on his three starts for a new yard this autumn; lots to prove.
Headstrong 5yo who won Grade 2 novice here (2m, good to soft) in October and went close on handicap debut at Ascot (1m7f, good) three weeks ago; open to further improvement for top yard and can play a leading role if conditions suit; showed promise on soft ground in a point.
Runner-up at Kempton (2m5f) in February and now 4lb lower; however, this 10yo hasn't been at the top of his game this season (hurdles/fences) and needs something extra; his handicap wins have come over 2m4f/2m5f.
Won two juvenile hurdles last season (2m, good to soft/soft) and fourth of seven on handicap debut at Sandown (2m, good to soft) in March, when he would have been closer but for a final-flight mistake; improvement is possible this season but necessary in a competitive race on his reappearance.
Having had a wind op she returned to form with a convincing win under Tom Broughton here (2m, good to soft) in October; showed promise in a soft-ground bumper; this 5yo could still have more to offer and is respected up 6lb.
Won on handicap/seasonal debut at Worcester (2m, good) in October and followed up in big field here (2m, soft) last month; this lightly raced 5yo is clearly progressive and a 7lb rise for last time may not stop him.
4yo who won three times over hurdles last season (good/good to soft), including two handicaps; returned to form when second of four at Sandown (2m, good to soft) last month but needs a bigger performance today.
Won a Listed bumper here (1m6f, heavy) in January 2024 and made it 3-3 when winning on hurdle debut at Hereford (2m, soft) that February; then absent until last month, when third of six at 8-13 in Exeter novice (2m, good); however, he has the potential to be a lot better than this opening mark.
