Returned from break with close second off today's mark at Warwick (2m4f, good) last November and could quite plausibly be seen to even better effect on the slower ground here but he's tricky to weigh up after another 404-day absence.
Unexposed 6yo who won Sandown novice hurdle (2m, soft) in February; lacked fluency and was ultimately well beaten on seasonal/chase/handicap debut at Bangor (2m4f, good) in October but that run wasn't all bad; sports flrst-time blinkers here and may still have a good future over fences.
3-8 over fences, the latest win gained at Perth (3m, good to soft; 2m4f also suits) in April; did not get competitive at Bangor last month, after a break, but has possibilities if back on song; usually held up in rear.
1-6 over fences, the win gained off 1lb lower at Bangor (2m4f, good; also suited by soft) in April; failed to complete three of those chases, though, and was safely held over C&D last month; tongue-tie returns; risky.
Retured from break with two convincing chase wins this autumn (2m6f/2m4f, good) and may yet have more improvement to come but was not seen to best effect on good to soft ground on latest outing and the conditions are a worry again here.
Won good-ground maiden hurdle last season and made promising start to chasing career at Sedgefield (2m3f, good) last month, keeping on for clear third behind two next-time-out winners; may not be ideally suited by the slower ground here but won his bumper on good to soft; major player.
Reeled in two clear leaders to lead close home at Market Rasen (2m5f, good; first-time cheekpieces) in May but it's wise to treat that form with a degree of caution; found 3m on soft ground too taxing on next outing and was unlucky to come to grief here 12 days ago; others are more convincing.
