Roy Lane
Two siblings won Listed and Group 2 sprints; clear evidence of ability at York (5f, good to firm) last May, behind rivals who are way above this bracket; off for 11 months after and he didn't show much on his return at Doncaster in April but his AW run since (first-time cheekpieces, retained) was better; no surprise if he goes well on handicap debut.

Jack Rabbit Slims
Maiden after 12 starts but he has gone close in two C&D handicaps (good to firm) this year and to his credit that he nearly got back up three weeks ago, in this headgear combination; in the thick of it.

Country Artiste
Early promise for previous yard but didn't progress and it's been a struggle off high marks since switched to handicaps; dropping steadily in the weights and down in grade so may do better; has worn a hood, first-time cheekpieces today.

Dabbling
Opening mark suffered from one good run as 2yo and although she's dropped a few pounds this year she didn't find as much as the second Jack Rabbit Slims and third Power Of Chora over C&D recently; shade more needed.

Our Hero Matty
Failed to progress as a 2yo and was well held in sprint handicaps on the AW and turf for previous yard; however, he shaped nicely on his debut for this one when third at Catterick (6f, good to firm) in June so now he's of more interest again.

What A Tahoo
Has found her level in 5f handicaps of late, getting off the mark in quite taking style at Ripon (good; chief victim has won since) before having a troubled run at Musselburgh recently; also has form on a stiff track and should be able to plunder something else off her current mark.

Power Of Chora
Fairly routine form in her first handicaps but she is more favourably treated now and the drop to 5f seemed to suit when coming from off the pace to finish close up behind Jack Rabbit Slims over C&D (good to firm; in this headgear combination); can take a hand again.

Sparkling Wine
Improved form when second on handicap debut at Catterick but she played up before the start of a C&D race since (joint-favourite; Jack Rabbit Slims second) and failed to come up with much; now has something to prove.
