Made a promising start when fourth at Newbury (6.5f) in June and he built on that when landing the odds in good style at Lingfield (7f) the following month; has a penalty back from a break but he's open to more progress and is strongly respected; both runs have been on good to firm but he has slow-ground winners in pedigree.
Sixth foal; gelded half-brother to winners Endowed (6f including 2yo; RPR 94), Lion's House (6f AW 2yo; 89) and Muhajjal (7f AW; 80); dam unplaced 1m2f (57), half-sister to 7f 2yo Group 2 winner Laughing Lashes, out of half-sister to 1m 2yo Group 1 winner; has striking pedigree and he needs checking in the market on debut.
Runner-up on his debut here (6f, good to firm) in July and filled the same position behind his main market rival at Haydock (6f, good to soft) last month; both pieces of form put him firmly in the picture here and he has shaped as though this step up in trip will suit; big player.
Eighth foal; half-brother to winners Blue Moonrise (5f-6f including 2yo; RPR 87) and Rusalka (Italian 7f-8.4f); dam 1m-1m2f winner (82), closely related to Hong Kong 6f Group 2 winner Charles The Great; already gelded and this looks a tough enough starting point.
28,000euros yearling; gelded half-brother to 8.4f winner Drink Dry (RPR 81); unraced dam closely related to 1m2f/10.5f Group 1 winner Fascinating Rock, half-sister to winners Quick Jack (smart 1m4f-2m Flat and 2m hurdle) and Newcross (1m4f/13.7f); has good standard to aim at on debut and he's probably a longer-term prospect.
Wootton Bassett colt who cost 470,000gns as a yearling and represents major connections; shaped with promise when fifth on his Newbury debut (7f, good to firm) in August but he faded into seventh of 11 at Kempton last month; that last run was behind a smart prospect but he has something to find here and needs to settle better back on turf.
Ran green after a slow start at Haydock (7f, good to soft) last month but he finished well to snatch third at 40-1; that was an eyecatching debut effort and he should benefit from the experience; in the mix.
95,000 yearling; third foal; half-brother to multiple 6f 2yo winner Beyond Borders (RPR 90); dam unraced sister to 7f 2yo winner (including Group 1 National Stakes) Thunder Moon, half-sister to useful 1m-1m2f winner Table Rock; lots to like on paper and interesting to see how he figures in market.
120,000gns yearling; weak 11-1 shot at Doncaster (7f, good) last month but she ran well for a long way before finishing third of nine behind the two market leaders; that was a promising start and she could be a big factor if she can build on that.
