200,000gns foal; out of dual Group 1 winner La Collina; promising Kempton debut as 2yo was easily surpassed by an emphatic win over C&D in April (second won handicap off mark of 85 in August); had big-race entries at the time but not seen since; should be too good.
Listed hurdle winner and very useful chaser; respectable efforts in 1m4f novice events here and at Kempton but likely to be taken off his legs dropped to 1m so hard to work up enthusiasm today.
Made some late headway on 7f debut at Yarmouth and he duly improved for 1m when third of eight in C&D maiden last month; the type to improve further when handicapping; win prospects are slim if the favourite is on song.
Has a useful pedigree and perhaps testing surfaces have been a serious handicap when finishing remote in 1m3f events at Hamilton and Carlisle; can only watch now dropped to 1m and switched to the AW.
155,000euros yearling, 22,000gns breeze-up 2yo; ninth foal; gelded New Bay half-brother to winners Queen Of Power (7f; RPR 98), Richter Scale (5f including 2yo/AW; 82) and Octavia (1m; 82); dam placed 1m-1m2f (68); yard also runs Star Of Jupiter; not much expected this time.
By Frankel out of Listed and Group 3 winner; never involved on 2yo debut in November and still looked in need of the experience on belated return last month when his late challenge only just failed against a penalised winner at Windsor (1m); should be plenty more to come.
Eighth foal; Golden Horn half-brother to five winners including Prize Money (1m-1m4f including 2yo/UAE Group 2; RPR 117), Dubai One (5f-7f AW including 2yo; 100) and Role Player (6f/7f AW; 90); dam 5f 2yo winner (77); leading yard has a solid strike-rate here; market can guide.
8,000gns yearling; third foal; by Nathaniel; dam 1m4f AW winner (RPR 77), half-sister to useful 7f-1m1f winner Hail Caesar, from classy family; of interest for further down the line but not today.
Third foal; New Bay half-sister to 8.6f AW winner Rubbeldiekatz (RPR 65); dam unraced sister to 1m4f Group 3 winner Klassique, out of 1m Group 1 winner Chachamaidee; this looks an awkward starting point.
Second foal; Charm Spirit half-sister to 1m winner Haughty (RPR 69); dam 1m winner (76), out of French 1m Group 3 winner as 2yo; this is a warm race in which to set off.
