Same yard as North Lodge; second under Philip Armson on return; move up to this trip seemed to suit this 4yo well when he emerged on top in a sustained duel at Plumpton last time, the pair 15l clear; up another 4lb but he is 3-5 over hurdles (all on softer than good) and progressing well.

Eighth hurdle race when he made the breakthrough at Warwick (2m3f, soft) last month and he followed up off the same mark at Wetherby (2m4f, soft) one week later with another totally dominant display under Elliott England; has an 11lb higher mark and much more to prove if it's good ground (acts on good to soft) but the return to a right-handed track should suit (he keeps jumping out to his right) and he has to be prominent in calculations.
