Three Flat wins for this yard, including over 1m6f and 2m; unplaced in five starts on the level since winning over 10.5f on AW in late 2024, but was placed in a maiden hurdle in February; has gone to Galway the last three years, and this is most likely a prep run.
AW winner surprised his trainer when handling soft ground here last month, beating Monday's ready Killarney winner Molto Amichi over 1m1f in first-time cheekpieces; winner got first run on him at Ballinrobe over almost this far, where he kept on well along with third-home Marmeladova.
Loves Dundalk and won three in a row there in the spring (10.5f/1m4f); sole turf win came here last summer over 1m1f (off 60) and will be sharper for Roscommon run after nearly three months off; AW mark of 87; turf mark of 78 reflects his good AW form earlier in the year, rather than his actual achievements on grass.
Ballinrobe maiden winner was a length off Daler back there last month (now 1lb better off); seemingly outstayed over 1m4f last time; touched off at Navan last year, so she goes left-handed; handicapped to win when everything falls into place.
Gained her second AW win off 72 in February, but just 1-28 on turf; good fourth of 20 over 1m at the Curragh last time; best form over 7f/1m, and just one inconclusive run over this trip here last year; yet to finish in the first three in five visits to this venue.
Sole win in 26 Flat starts was over 1m1f in lower-grade contest here last August; that is possibly his optimum trip, although only beaten half-a-length over 10.5f on AW in December; after five months off, not a bad run at Roscommon lately.
Both wins have come right-handed on yielding ground, over 1m3f last year and under a brilliant ride from the champion jockey over 9.5f at Gowran last month; has run well this way round, too; handled quick ground okay when ridden to get 1m4f (upped to this grade) at the Curragh last time; cheekpieces swapped for blinkers.
Veteran front-runner won over 1m4f at Roscommon last year and was second at Fairyhouse in May; all eight wins have been at right-handed tracks; has to be opposed here.
Came good late in his three-year-old campaign when the blinds went on; back-to-back wins in 0-60 company at Gowran (1m, heavy) and Dundalk (10.5f); after eight months off, ran okay when upgraded to this level, finishing pretty much upsides Unterberg and Sinbad My Dad at Roscommon (10.5f).
