Well handicapped on the pick of his 2023 form for Sandy Thomson; missed all of 2024 and 2025; this 10yo is one to watch in the betting on his stable debut but it's a very hefty absence to defy.
2m maiden hurdle winner who was a clear second behind a highly progressive winner at Hexham (2m4f, heavy) last month on his second chase start; also effective on good to soft ground; finished second in three 3m points and he's open to improvement now up in trip; firmly in calculations.
Won hunter chase at Hexham (3m, good) last May and creditable performances in defeat in November in his first two handicaps (3m, soft); form dipped at Kelso 17 days ago but he can be in the mix if leaving that behind.
He's struggled on his last four starts but is now 3lb lower than when winning at Sedgefield (3m2f, good) last April and his southern trainer has a very healthy 24% strike-rate here; interesting, especially if backed.
Promising third at Hexham (2m4f, good to soft) in November on second chase start; fifth on next two runs but in a warm race here (2m4f, good to soft) then in a higher grade at Aintree (3m1f, good to soft); not ruled out.
Runner-up in two bumpers and three novice hurdles; below par at Uttoxeter four weeks ago and she's in a competitive race for her chase/handicap debut, but her half-siblings The Scorpion King and River Of Joy both improved for going over fences and she's well worth a second look.
Inconsistent last year and soundly beaten at Kelso last time, but prior to that he showed spark when second at Carlisle and his Newcastle form-figures read 14121; could have a part to play now back here.
Merely seventh over hurdles on last two starts but before those he was second of 14 on his stable/seasonal debut at Ayr, and this point winner could be suited by today's switch to fences; not ruled out now in headgear.
Bumper winner who is 0-9 over hurdles and 0-5 over fences; however, last month's fourth at Musselburgh (2m7f, good to soft) can be upgraded as he jumped to the left, and he could build on that effort now going back left-handed; first-time blinkers replace the cheekpieces adopted last time.
Having been well backed he proved no match for the winner when runner-up on last month's stable/seasonal debut at Sedgefield (3m2f, soft); however, last February's chase win came on good going and he could improve upon his latest effort when back on a better surface.
12yo who achieved his best finish for quite some time when close second at Musselburgh (2m7f, soft) last month; however, from out of the handicap today he's 7lb higher than last time and may be vulnerable.
