Spotlight :
Group 3 winner at two (1m, soft) and runner-up in a Group 1 at Saint-Cloud; flopped in the Craven on reappearance, when pulling hard and not looking happy on drying ground, but was much more like it in a hood when third in the French 2,000 Guineas, beaten just half a length; fair sixth in the French Derby since and is more interesting than most, back down in trip and returning from a break; headgear removed now.

Spotlight :
Good winner of a Baden-Baden Group 2 (1m, good) latest but that wasn't a strong race and he now has a small penalty in what is a much deeper race for the grade.

Spotlight :
Big improver in 2024 since wearing cheekpieces, winning twice over this C&D before landing a Chantilly Group 3 (1m, good to soft) in July; similar level of form when fourth in the Moulin and this looks easier; can make the running; respected despite stall 10 not helping.

Spotlight :
Winner of the 2023 French 2,000 Guineas and remains a smart performer, winning twice this year; failed to give his running when last of nine in the Jacques le Marois latest but this is easier and he should be thereabouts; versatile ground-wise.

Spotlight :
Needs soft ground and he won his first three starts, looking potentially high class, before getting no run at all when down the field in the St James's Palace; not seen again in 2023 but reappeared with a win in a Sandown handicap (1m, soft) off a mark of 107 in July; predictably struggled on fast ground at Glorious Goodwood and the going was again not soft enough when fourth in a Group 3 at Haydock latest; interesting contender if there's sufficient cut underfoot, although stall 11 is wider than ideal.

Spotlight :
Two handicap wins for Charlie Appleby last season and has shown improved form for new yard this year, winning a C&D Listed race (good to soft) in September and looking a little unlucky not to beat Andromede at Chantilly (1m1f) two weeks ago; should be fine back down in trip and could be capable of a further step forward.

Spotlight :
Formerly trained by Andre Fabre; performing to a smart level for new yard this year, winning a Newcastle handicap (7f, AW) from a mark of 102 in June and most recently landing a Deauville Group 3 (1m, very soft) in August; this is tougher again, but he's a 4yo on the up.

Spotlight :
Progressed out of handicaps with a Listed win last year and has added two more races at Chantilly this season, including a Group 3 (1m1f, good) against her own sex two weeks ago, albeit a little fortunate to beat Mountain Song; this asks more of her.

Spotlight :
Won over 1m on his first two starts this season, but was then below that level in the French Guineas (ran okay in fifth) and French Derby (well held); took advantage of drop in grade to win a Deauville Group 3 in August but then trailed home last of seven in the Moulin and others hold stronger claims.

Spotlight :
Progressive at a lower level, finishing runner-up in a Deauville handicap before winning a Listed event at La Teste De Buch (both those runs over 1m on soft); clearly capable of better but it is needed.

Spotlight :
Dual winner up to 1m in Germany for new yard this year but has loads to find on form and looks likely to struggle in against deeper opposition now; newly gelded.
