“Your money back as a free bet up to £20, if your Horse finishes 2^nd”

UK 18+. In shops. Runs 10/03/26-13/03/26. Applies to win/each way bets placed before the race over the counter on races marked ‘‘Money Back 2nd Race’ and on first Qualifying Bet per race per customer. Excludes on-course, Betting Terminals and promotional bets/credits. If horse finishes 2nd, stake refunded as Free Bet (max £20 win / £10 EW net; no Free Bet if total return ≥ stake). Claim by presenting losing bet slip at the counter by shop close the day after the race.  Free Bet issued as ‘Money Back Special’ to be used over the counter on horse racing within 3 days of claiming. See below for full T&Cs.

1. The promotion runs from 10th March 2026 – 13^th March 2026 in shops excluding on-course shops.  
2. One race will be advertised in shop each day via the in-shop screens as ‘Money Back 2^nd Race’ or ask shop staff for details.     
3. To participate in this promotion, place a bet in pound sterling (promotional bets/credits cannot be used towards Qualifying Bet) over the counter on a horse either to win or each way in any advertised Money Back 2^nd Race before the start of that race (a ‘Qualifying Bet’).   
4. If your selected horse finishes 2^nd in the race:
   1. for awin only bet, you will be entitled to receive the amount of your losing stake back as a free bet up to a maximum of £20; or
   2. for an each way bet, your bet for placing second will be settled as normal but if your total returns amount to less than your total stake you will be entitled to receive the difference up to the amount of yourwin stake (your stake for your horse to come first) back as a free bet up a maximum of £10.
5. Customers may only place a maximum of one Qualifying Bet per each Money Back 2^nd Race.    
6. In each Money Back 2^nd Race, if you place more than one bet over the counter, only the first bet you place will count as your Qualifying Bet for this promotion.
7. Bets placed via betting terminals or online do not count as a Qualifying Bet.
   
   
   Free Bets 
8. For any Qualifying Bet, you can receive a maximum of one Free Bet up to £20 if your Qualifying Bet is to win or up to £10 if your Qualifying Bet is an each way bet (in either case a “Free Bet”)
9.  To claim your Free Bet, you must present your losing bet slip from the Money Back 2^nd Race in which your horse came second at the counter by shop close the day after the raceto receive a ‘money back special’ slip. 
10. Use your money back special slip to place a Free Bet over the counter on any Horse racing bet.
11. Free Bets in this promotion can only be placed using the money back special slip in the shop where you placed your Qualifying Bet. 
12. Free Bets will expire if not used within 3 days from collecting your ‘money back special’ slip. So if you collected your Free Bet on a Monday you would need to use your Free Bet by shop close on the following Wednesday. 
13. The full value of the Free Bet must be redeemed in one stake. A Free Bet can only be used once.
14. Free Bets or other promotions do not count as a Qualifying Bet.
15. The Free Bet is non-refundable and cannot be withdrawn as cash.
16. The stake of the Free Bet will not be included in the returns of any bet placed with a Free Bet.
17. Customers must be aged 18 or over to participate in the promotion.

1. Place a single Qualifying Bet, either to win or each way, over the counter on one of the Money Back 2^nd Races advertised in shop. 
2. If your horse finishes 2nd, claim a Free Bet up to £20 on a Qualifying Bet to win or up to £10 on a Qualifying Bet each way at the counter from staff as a ‘Money back special’ slip by shop close the day after the race.
3. Redeem your Free Bet with your ‘Money back special’ slip on any horse racing bet in the same shop within 3 days from issue. 

1. We expect you to be fair when you take part in promotions. We consider certain types of play to be unfair and to break these terms and conditions. These unfair types of play include, without limitation, the following:
   • using ‘minimal risk wagering patterns’ (that is, a set pattern of bets or stakes that unfairly minimises risks or opposite betting);
   • sharing personalised promotions (that is, promotions only available to specific customers we offer them to) with others and/or taking part in any personalised promotion forwarded to you by someone else when it was not intended for you;
   • colluding with other customers (that is, plotting with others to gain an unfair advantage) in relation to the promotion;
   • taking advantage of broken mechanics and combination of loopholes on the game that leads to abusing the promotion/offer/bonus; and
   • purchasing all the tickets for a free game; or repeatedly depositing, cashing out and redepositing purely to gain a deposit related bonus.
2. If you take part in any play that we consider to be unfair, we may cancel any bonuses, offers or promotions applied to your account, reclaim any bonus/offer you have received as part of any promotion we have cancelled, and either:
   • void any bets funded by a bonus/offer (that is, treat them as if they had never been placed); or
   • remove any winnings relating to any bonus/offer.
3. In addition to these terms and conditions, your participation in any gaming or wagering made available in William Hill shops is governed by our general terms (the "Fair Deal Rules") which are displayed in our shops and available on request from shop staff. You should therefore ensure that you have read and understood the Fair Deal Rules and these terms and conditions before taking part in this promotion. In the case of any discrepancy between these terms and conditions and the Fair Deal Rules, these terms and conditions shall take precedence.
4. William Hill reserves the right to refuse the whole or part of any bet, stake or similar transaction requested by you: (a) where you have breached these terms and conditions (and/or the Fair Deal Rules); or (b) at any time in our sole discretion, except that we will not exercise (or seek to enforce) any such restriction if you have already made one or more qualifying bets in respect of the promotion and the exercise of our discretion would affect your ability to:
   • receive the free bets, or the full expected value of the free bets, from the promotion, where you have placed all the necessary qualifying bets.
   • place the remaining qualifying bets required by the promotion, and consequently receive the free bets, or the full expected value of the free bets, from the promotion, to which you would be entitled as a result; or
   • materially affect your ability to complete the qualifying bets required by the promotion.
5. Regardless of anything else set out in these terms and conditions, you can withdraw funds from your main balance at any time, except where we must withhold the funds to meet our legal or regulatory obligations.
6. You may not participate in the promotion (and you will not be entitled to receive any free bets) if you have previously been informed by William Hill that you are excluded from participating in promotions or any gaming or wagering on the William Hill website, the William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app or in William Hill shops.
7. William Hill has the right to refuse or withhold free bets (or any winnings from free bets) in the event of funds you have wagered being cancelled or denied by any payment service.
8. We can change or cancel this promotion, or change these terms and conditions:
   • without giving you notice, if the change or cancellation is needed because of any change in law or regulation; or
   • by giving you notice beforehand, if the change or cancellation is for any other valid reason (for example, if there is a fault in the software or systems we use to provide this promotion, we identify a mistake in these terms and conditions, or we are discontinuing the Promotion for commercial reasons).
9. We can also award an equivalent bonus/offer to the one referred to in this promotion.
10. We will not be responsible for any technical, hardware or software failures, or any unavailable or lost network conditions which may result in incorrect information being displayed, or affect your ability to enter or take part in the promotion. If there is any dispute over your eligibility for the promotion, our decision will be final.
11. These terms and conditions are governed by, and interpreted in line with, the laws of England and Wales. Any legal action in connection with these terms and conditions will be dealt with in the courts of England and Wales.
