- This BOG promotion runs on UK/Ireland horse racing races from 08:00 - 10/03/26 until shop close 13/03/26 unless otherwise cancelled or withdrawn by William Hill (the “Promotion Period”). BOG doesn’t apply to UK/Irish Greyhound races.
- The promotion is available in all William Hill shops (excluding on-course betting shops). Promotion not available online.
- Best Odds Guaranteed (“BOG”) means that if the starting price (the “SP” – meaning the price offered by William Hill at ‘the off’) is higher than the price a customer took, the customer will be paid out at the higher price. In contrast, if the SP is lower than the price the customer took, the customer will be paid out at the higher odds in place when placing their bet. Worked example: If a customer backs a selection taking a price of 4/1 and the SP returns at 5/1, the customer would be paid out at the higher price of 5/1. However, if the SP returns at 3/1 the payout would still be at 4/1.
BOG is available on Qualifying Bets. A "Qualifying Bet" is
- an over-the-counter stake;
- placed on win or each way singles on the win market;
- made on the day (8am onwards) of the race until ‘the off’ of that race;
- on all UK & Irish Horse races running during the Promotion Period.
- Qualifying Bets are subject to a maximum of £200 per stake. Where individual stakes exceed £200, only £200 will be included within the BOG promotion.
- Specials, Price Boosts and Pool bets are excluded from this promotion.
- The benefit received from BOG is capped at £25,000 per customer, per day (08:00-22:00 UK time) during the Promotion Period (the “Daily Cap”). The Daily Cap:
- only applies to the benefit received when the SP is higher than the price the customer originally took. For example, if a customer took odds at 4/1 and the SP is 6/1, the benefit is the difference between the winnings paid at these two prices.For the avoidance of doubt, the winnings at 4/1 do not count towards the Daily Cap – winnings from the original odds taken will be paid in full and not subject to the Daily Cap.
- is calculated by adding together the benefit from higher SPs across your winning Qualifying Bets in a single day.
- will kick in once a player’s £25,000 daily limit is reached. No further benefit will then be paid out over and above the cap.
- William Hill reserves the right to exclude a customer from the promotion if:
- William Hill identifies that the customer has breached these terms and conditions;
- William Hill detects suspicious betting behaviours or activity by the customer;
- the customer's status changes during the promotion period (for example, if the customer self-excludes, or restrictions are applied on the customer’s betting activity); or
- the customer is no longer resident in an eligible jurisdiction.
- The promotion is only available to customers who are resident in the UK.
- This iteration of the promotion is not available online via the William Hill website (williamhill.com) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app, or through our telebetting service.
General Terms and Conditions
- We expect you to be fair when you take part in promotions. We consider certain types of play to be unfair and to break these terms and conditions. These unfair types of play include, without limitation, the following:
- using ‘minimal risk wagering patterns’ (that is, a set pattern of bets or stakes that unfairly minimises risks or opposite betting);
- sharing personalised promotions (that is, promotions only available to specific customers we offer them to) with others and/or taking part in any personalised promotion forwarded to you by someone else when it was not intended for you;
- colluding with other customers (that is, plotting with others to gain an unfair advantage) in relation to the promotion;
- taking advantage of broken mechanics and combination of loopholes on the game that leads to abusing the promotion/offer/bonus; and
- purchasing all the tickets for a free game; or repeatedly depositing, cashing out and redepositing purely to gain a deposit related bonus.
- If you take part in any play that we consider to be unfair, we may cancel any bonuses, offers or promotions applied to your account, reclaim any bonus/offer you have received as part of any promotion we have cancelled, and either:
- void any bets funded by a bonus/offer (that is, treat them as if they had never been placed); or
- remove any winnings relating to any bonus/offer.
- In addition to these terms and conditions, your participation in any gaming or wagering made available in William Hill shops is governed by our general terms (the "Fair Deal Rules") which are displayed in our shops and available on request from shop staff. You should therefore ensure that you have read and understood the Fair Deal Rules and these terms and conditions before taking part in this promotion. - William Hill reserves the right to refuse the whole or part of any bet, stake or similar transaction requested by you:
- where you have breached these terms and conditions (and/or the Fair Deal Rules); or
- at any time in our sole discretion, except that we will not exercise (or seek to enforce) any such restriction if you have already made one or more qualifying bets in respect of the promotion and the exercise of our discretion would affect your ability to:
- receive the free bets, or the full expected value of the free bets, from the promotion, where you have placed all the necessary qualifying bets.
- place the remaining qualifying bets required by the promotion, and consequently receive the free bets, or the full expected value of the free bets, from the promotion, to which you would be entitled as a result;
- materially affect your ability to complete the qualifying bets required by the promotion.
- Regardless of anything else set out in these terms and conditions, you can withdraw funds from your main balance at any time, except where we must withhold the funds to meet our legal or regulatory obligations.
- You may not participate in the promotion (and you will not be entitled to receive any free bets) if you have previously been informed by William Hill that you are excluded from participating in promotions or any gaming or wagering on the William Hill website, the William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app or in William Hill shops.
- William Hill has the right to refuse or withhold free bets (or any winnings from free bets) in the event of funds you have wagered being cancelled or denied by any payment service.
- We can change or cancel this promotion, or change these terms and conditions:
- without giving you notice, if the change or cancellation is needed because of any change in law or regulation; or
- by giving you notice beforehand, if the change or cancellation is for any other valid reason (for example, if there is a fault in the software or systems we use to provide this promotion, we identify a mistake in these terms and conditions, or we are discontinuing the Promotion for commercial reasons).
- We can also award an equivalent bonus/offer to the one referred to in this promotion.
- We will not be responsible for any technical, hardware or software failures, or any unavailable or lost network conditions which may result in incorrect information being displayed, or affect your ability to enter or take part in the promotion. If there is any dispute over your eligibility for the promotion, our decision will be final.
- These terms and conditions are governed by, and interpreted in line with, the laws of England and Wales. Any legal action in connection with these terms and conditions will be dealt with in the courts of England and Wales.
