Won Redcar novice (1m2f, good to firm) in April on reappearance before respectable third of five in Group 3 Chester Vase (1m4f, good), behind subsequent Irish Derby winner Benvenuto Cellini; early interference when down the field at Royal Ascot and could have a part to play back down in grade.
Built upon the promise of his sole 2yo run to win Leicester maiden (1m2f, good to firm) on reappearance, and he followed up in a small-field novice at Newmarket (1m2f, good) last month; today is a much tougher test of his credentials but this blue-blooded colt may well be up to the task.
Five unsuccessful starts for Joseph O'Brien, finishing second in a couple of 2yo maidens; changed hands for 2,500gns this month and she would be a surprise winner on her stable debut, for which a hood is applied.
Won three handicaps in a row in May/June (1m2f/10.3f, good/soft); down the field in Royal Ascot handicap next time and same story there last Friday, so she needs to turn things around, but she's not discounted in view of her previous promise.
Made it two wins from her four starts when easily winning a Class 3 handicap here (1m1f, good) in May; stamina to prove today and she was only fifth in a Listed race at Goodwood (1m2f, soft) last time, but the ground may not have suited and she remains one to be interested in, especially back here.
Two-time AW novice winner (1m/1m4f) who was runner-up in the Lingfield Oaks Trial (11.6f, good to firm) before respectable fifth of 15 in the Italian Oaks (10.5f, good); the Lingfield form hasn't worked out but she's nevertheless a leading contender today.
